The truth behind all wedding day is that no matter how much you plan and prep in advance unforeseen situations like the one in this video will happen. As an experience event professional your job is to stay cool, calm & collected no matter how crazy things get and simply READJUST.

Even though @jenniferevansevents & I hearts sank in that very moment as we watched the ceremony florals completely collapse & get destroyed. I would say almost instantly we came up with Plan B. Jen as the planner & stylist of the event decided that we werent going to elevate the arrangements for the ceremony anymore and Happy Happenings Team quickly started putting together new florals on site and just like that in a matter of minutes it was like nothing ever happened.

Our job is to keep the wedding day flowing as seamless & beautiful as possible. Our mission & commitment will always be to deliver & make our client’s day special despite the challenges we may encounter along the way.

2022 will go down in the books as the year that I kicked fear & excuses to the curb, stop saying “maybe 1 day” and just focus on BUILDING NOW.

One of those years that shakes you to the core, challenges you yet teaches you so much, and changes your whole perfective & priorities about EVERYTHING.

2022 the year of working with the most amazing people and BUILDING what I have always dreamt about.

So 2023 get ready because we have big plans and a lot more coming….You just wait and see!

As many of you might know my name is Sally and I’m the creative force behind

But allow me to reintroduce myself and share a little bit of my story that a lot of you might not know.

After obtaining my bachelor degree in Architecture in 2008 and perusing a career in the field for a few years. I was laid off and had a really hard time finding a good job due to the market crash. I felt uninspired, lost, and had a very strong urge to reconsider my whole entire career path. (Let’s just say this didn’t make my parents very happy 😬)

However, being the strong willed gal I’ve always been I followed my heart and my passion for the arts. Finding a creative job was extremely important to me at the time so I accidentally landed a gig as a designer in an Event Production company where I was introduced to the floral & event design world…and THAT WAS IT! I was hooked and felt that I had truly found my calling and what set my soul on fire x 1,000!!!

Now that I come to think of it ever since I had this epiphany many years ago I had done everything in my power to perfect my craft and become everyday better at what I love to do. Developing my uniqueness and what I have as a designer to offer to the world has been my purpose & drive.

Almost 10 years ago I took the plunge and launch what is now known as Happy Happenings Event & Floral Design and the rest has been quite the journey.

They say:

“Sometimes on your way to your dreams you get lost and find a better one”

If you are feeling lost in life or experiencing a shift in your path that you aren’t sure about don’t be so hard on yourself. Follow your heart despite what anyone tells you. Keep going, I promise you it will all work out for the better.

I am grateful for all the challenges I had to overcome to be a living proof of this!! 🙏🌸💗
